My passion for the English language and literature led me to study English at Leiden University, where I graduated with a thesis on Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights. After spending several years in education, I pursued a career in Human Resources. Throughout those years, however, literature remained a constant presence in my life.

About twelve years ago, I discovered photography. Since then, I have attended basic courses at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam, as well as numerous workshops and masterclasses, continually refining my skills. Photography has become an endless source of inspiration and joy, and I feel privileged to be able to learn from some of the Netherlands' finest landscape and documentary photographers.

My photography is mainly inspired by literature. I am particularly drawn to landscapes that impact stories and characters and that evoke atmosphere, history, and emotional depth. Through my images, I hope to capture not only the beauty of these landscapes but also the imagination they continue to inspire.

Alongside landscape photography, I am also attracted to interior photography. I am particularly captivated by interiors that tell a story—whether about their own history or the lives of the people who once inhabited them.
